Grand Opening with Melvin ODoom
Friday 26th July 2024 saw the official opening of Firs Farm Community Hub.
Local celebrity (TV & Radio Presenter) kindly officiated the opening by cutting the ribbon and offering kind words of encouragement. Hundreds of local people enjoyed the celebrations that followed.

Vanessa Haynes & her band
A real treat for regular and new guests at Firs Farm Community Hub on a Saturday night in November 2024. Vanessa regularly packs out Ronnie Scott's and we were thrilled to have her perform in the intimate Nastri Room.
One of the best female singers in the UK, Vanessa was joined by Tom O Grady on keys and the incomparable, Yolanda Charles on bass.
A full house with the audience urging a return visit.

Eleanor Grant & her band
Eleanor performed the first gig of her "Inside Me" tour on 18th July 2025 in the intimacy of The Nastri Room.
Joined by James Nall on drums and Charlie Morton on guitar the trio received a standing ovation for their wonderful performance.

The evening was a blend of original songs in addition to covers that have inspired Eleanor.

Only A Pavement Away
In 2024, Home Care Preferred Social Enterprise, hosted an awareness seminar for the charity "Only A Pavement Away".
The charity supports ex-offenders, helping them find work in hospitality and assisting with housing. The charity has been extremely successful. The event was attended by people from the local community, including businesses.

Janine Johnson - Soul In The Park
International Soul Diva provided an outstanding performance in July 2024 at Firs Farm Community Hub.
Audiences were on their feet, both dancing and giving a standing ovation to Janine and her fabulous band.

Instra-mentals Trio
Yolanda Charles (Bass), Nick Linnick (guitar) and Richard Spaven (drums) performed an outstanding night of Fusion Jazz in The Nastri Room, during March 2025.
Three of the UK's finest musicians, thrilled the local audience with their skilled playing.

Gosh It's Friday
On various Friday evenings in 20024 & 2025, HCP Social Enterprise organised a wide range of free events for the local community. These included several busking/jam vibe gigs with local musicians, including, That Blue Patch, Black Dog Hat & Dalligan.
The Choir of the charity One-to-One, who support young adults with Nuero-diverse conditions, performed on a summers night in 2024.
There have also been Quiz & Kareoke Nights.

Alzheimer's Awareness Afternoon & Tea Party
In 2024 Home Care Preferred, in association with Age UK Enfield, hosted an afternoon tea and music to raise awareness regarding Dementia.
There were a range of ages from young children to people in their 90's. A separate Dementia Seminar was also held on a different date

Singer, Elanor Grant, provided lovely musical entertainment. MD of Home Care Preferred. Ken Waterhouse, spoke about his experience supporting people with Dementia and advised on help available.

The Mayor of Enfield kindly attended the afternoon. Everyone had an enjoyable time.
